Well, Steamtank Phail pulled off the upset tonight and will face Team Hot Sauce in the final match tomorrow night to determine the winner. Kudos to both teams for having almost all their players show up. Should be a great battle tomorrow night. :)

After defeating Dragon Army this evening, Steamtank Phail will match up tomorrow night against Team Hot Sauce, hoping to avenge their earlier loss to that team. Steamtank Phail pulled off their win tonight using 3 subs, an unfortunate situation to put captain Ryu in. Kudos to Xian's team for only needing a sub once, when Jon had to sit out due to a bad stick of RAM. 3rd place was their reward. :) Tomorrow night Team Hot Sauce will try to become the only undefeated team in L4D league...more

And then there were 3. I didn't catch the rosters for these matches, but I did see that all the teams were full and that there were a number of subs. As always, thanks to the subs for helping out. Steamtank Phail will match up against Dragon Army for a spot in the finals. Congrats to Team Hot Sauce for making the finals already.

Just to clarify, only the players eliminated after 2 games (Lucky and Jackson's teams) can play as subs for teams remaining in the tournament. Other players from the league that were eliminated later cannot play as subs. Teams may also still use non-league players to fill their teams. Also, from now on if a team uses an ineligible sub their match will count as a forfeit. The teams may play out the match for fun, but it won't count unless both captains AND myself (Chilly) approve of the...more

Based on the agreement of 5 captains (didn't even bother talking to the other 3 yet), players on the teams eliminated from competition tonight (the ones that lost 2 rounds and won none) can be used as subs for remaining matches. This will allow those players to play more and will make it easier to find subs for matches.
